Friday, May 15, 2015 EVANSVILLE COURIER PRESS Local Ramona Bohrer Evansville, Ind. www. Anna L. (Zoglmann) Gibbons, 92, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, through the Great books after school program. She earned a certificate in literacy tutoring and taught adult literacy classes in 1972.

Martha loved classical music as well as the Lawrence Welk Show. She was a longtime member of the Mature Adults at St. John. She was preceded in death by her Mary Beth Fuller; her parents; and her seven siblings. Martha is survived by her family that she dearly loved, her children, Patricia Sullivan (John) of Alexandria, James C.

Fuller, Jr. (Connie) of Rockport, John Fuller of Dale, Margaret K. Rasnic (Paris) of Berryville, Daniel Fuller (Pat) of Evansville, Amy Mattingly (Larry) of Newburgh, David Fuller of Evansville, Donna Boyer (John) of Boonville, Martha Schenk (Jim) of Evansville, Thomas Fuller (Lisa) of Evansville, Robert Fuller of Boonville, Laura Gentry (Ken) of Newburgh, Stephanie Metzger (Bruce) of Boonville, Michael Fuller of Chandler; 28 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Anna was born in Perry County, on August 21, 1922 to John and Rose Mary (James) Zoglmann. She worked at Bethel United Church of Christ and formerly worked at the shipyards. Anna was a member of Sts. Mary and John Catholic Church and volunteered her time at local soup kitchens. She was also a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary Post 1114 and past president of Women's Auxiliary Post 7686.

Anna enjoyed being outside working in her yard. Anna is survived by her sons, Robert Wayne Gibbons, of Colorado Springs, Dennis Lee Gibbons, of Evansville, a sister, Clara Dunn, of Rockport, grandchildren, Marybeth and Erin Marie; and several greatgrandchildren. He was a 59-year member of First Presbyterian Church, serving as trustee, elder, treasurer and personnel committee chairman and was a 40-year member of the choir. He was a member of the Downtown Optimist Club for over 40 years (serving as president), the Evansville Association for the Blind board, the Old Courthouse Preservation Society, the Kennel Club and Phi Gamma Delta. He enjoyed traveling, particularly to the Southwestern U.S. and to England and Scotland.

He delighted in spending time on the beach at Lido Key near Sarasota, being in New York City and San Francisco, attending theater and concerts, reading about the Civil War and listening to jazz performed by Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond and Stan Kenton. Dan was an enthusiastic fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and was something of a sports trivia expert. He also remembered everything about his own personal family history, including specific dates. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Douglass (Rowe) Korb; son, Daniel F.

Korb his wife, Susan (Roessler) Korb, of Evansville, and their children, Emily and Andrew; his son, Robert Douglass Korb, his wife, Lori (Howard) Korb, of St. Louis and their children, Elizabeth and Samantha; his brother, Donald B. Korb, of Evansville; and his brother and sister-inlaw, David J. and Doris Korb, of Bicknell, brother and sister-in-law, John and Leslie Rowe, of Pisgah Forest, N.C.; and nieces, nephews and many cousins. Ramona Bohrer, 86, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at her home. She was born in Evansville on July 10, 1928. Ramona worked for 15 years at the Evansville State Hospital in the dietary department. She worked at MedCo, now known as North Park Nursing Home, for 15 years as a dietary technician. She also worked as a personal assistant at Jerry Trainer's Plumbing.

Surviving her are two daughters, Cinda Barton (Don), of Wadesville, Connie Roll (Tom), of Evansville, one stepdaughter, Yalonda Carpenter, of Alabama; five grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn her loss is one niece; two nephews; good friend, Darlene Mullins; and sister-in-law, Jerdie Taylor of Texas. She was the youngest daughter of Sarah Jane and William Henry Filford, both of whom precede her in death. Also preceding her are sisters, Nellie Robinson (and her husband, Owen) and Annie Filford, who died in infancy. She is also preceded by her husband, Walter Louis Bohrer.

BROWNING Funeral Martha Louise Fuller Newburgh, Ind. Martha Louise (Maurer) Fuller, 91, passed a wa Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at University Nursing and Rehab in Evansville.

She was born May 10, 1924, in Evansville, to John George and Mary Matilda (Trunck) Maurer. Martha graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in 1942. She worked as a Chemist assistant at the Chrysler Corporation in Evansville after high school. She then went on to graduate from the Evansville school of Practical School of Nursing in 1970 as an LPN. She retired from St.

Mary's Medical Center in 1991. Martha was an avid reader and inspired children at St. John's elementary to read the classics (Dignity) ALEXANDER Michael McCray Evansville, Ind. Michael McCray died on May 14, 2015 after battling Parkinson's Disease for 13 years. He was 81.

Those who knew Mike will remember him as determined, funny and full of life. He practiced law first with his father, the late Herman McCray, at McCray, Clark, Statham and McCray and later as a partner with McCray, Frank, Lavallo and Klinger. Mike was active in the community having served as president of the Evansville Kennel Club, Evansville Country Club, Indiana Young Lawyers Association, Evansville Bar association, and Broadway Theater League. He was on the board of the Reitz Home and the Evansville Arts Council. He had a penchant for racing; since the age of 16 he attended the Indianapolis 500, missing only the two years he served in the U.S, Army.

Additionally, in the early years of the Evansville Freedom Festival, Mike loved running the hydroplane races for Thunder on the Ohio. He enjoyed golfing, working outdoors and was crazy about his dogs! Mike spent most of his childhood in Newburgh and attended Bosse High School in Evansville, where he was a member of the class of 1952. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois where he served as president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After his Army days, he completed law school at University. Following school, he remained a loyal fan of Indiana University football despite their losses.

Michael is survived by his wife of 47 years, Catherine (LaPlante)' four of his children, Julie King (Tom), of Columbus, Michael H. McCray (Beth), of Naperville, Karen Metsker (Damion), of Fullerton, and Susie Cotter (Paul), of Indianapolis; 13 grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; as well as brother-in-law, Stephen LaPlante (Kathryn), of Evansville; sisters-inlaw, Barbara Johnson, of Tucson, and Dolores McCray, of Evansville; and five nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his 16 year old son, Doug; brothers, Frank and George McCray; parents, Sarah and Herman McCray; sister-in-law, Barbara Christian; niece, Sarah McCray Hildebrand; and nephew, Robert McCray. The family would like to thank the Communities of Solarbron, Gentiva Hospice, Deaconess VNA Charlier Hospice Center, and the many friends who have supported Michael through his illness. He was born October 17,1931, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville to the late Sylvester Daniel and Grace Virginia (Baird) Korb. He was a graduate of Stanley Hall Grade School and Bosse High School in Evansville. Dan received his bachelor's degree in science from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, in 1953. During his college years, he was a four-year member of the glee club as well as a member of Blue Key, Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and the magazine staff. He was an Army veteran, serving from 1953 to 1955 in France at the Trois Fontaines Ordnance Depot in BarleDuc near the West German border.

He enjoyed weekend trips to Paris and other points of interest while stationed there. Upon returning to the U.S., he was employed by Permanent Savings Association, which later became Permanent Federal Savings and Loan and subsequently Permanent Bank. During his employment, he served as assistant branch manager, branch manager, treasurer, secretary-treasurer, vice president and member of the board of direc- Garrell D. "Gary" Wise, 58, died May 7, 2015. He graduated from Bosse High School in 1974 and was an Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.

She was born April 21, 1944 in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Herbert and Mildred (Brakie) Wilhite. Sharon had worked as a secretary with the Vanderburgh County Courts and for the last 25 years had worked as a secretary at South West Mental Health.
