He is survived by two sons, Edwin Cooke and James Cooke of New Rochelle, N.Y.; sister, Virginia King Estel of Blacksville, W.V.; and nephew and caregiver, Mike Conner of New Port Richey. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and Cross Country and Track Team at Bayshore and was affiliated with the Calvinist Cadet Corps. He attended FSU and was a member of the Army ROTC.
