1 MARCH 16, 2004 A SECTION OF THE BENSON, Jeanette Lucille, age 79, of Zephyrhills, passed away March 12 in Tampa, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Salamanca, N.Y. August 19, 1924, and moved to Zephyrhills from Little Valley, N.Y. She was a member of the Little Valley American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 531. She is predeceased by one son, Frederick Foriss.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Harry; daughters, Judy Hancox of Las Vegas, Ginger Stephens and husband, Jim of Zephyrhills and Janette Frank and husband, Tim of Leeland, N.C.; sister, Ethel Gallup of Reno, stepson, Michael Benson and wife, Dorothy of Spokane, 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Sleepy Hollow Clubhouse in Zephyrhills. He retired as a Captain from the US Army after 20 years and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, as well as serving 20 years in the active Reserves. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association in Washington, D.C. He is survived by two sons, Edwin Cooke and James Cooke of New Rochelle, N.Y.; sister, Virginia King Estel of Blacksville, W.V.; and nephew and caregiver, Mike Conner of New Port Richey. Burial will take place in Pennsylvania.

THOMAS B. DOBIES FUNERAL HOMES BARTELT ROAD CHAPEL HOLIDAY. DOERR, Jonathan Michael, 19, of Bradenton, died Sunday, March 14th, 2004 at home. A native of Hartford, he moved to Bradenton in 1990. He was a 2003 graduate of Bayshore High School and was a member of the JROTC.

He was also a member of the National Honor Society and Cross Country and Track Team at Bayshore and was affiliated with the Calvinist Cadet Corps. He attended FSU and was a member of the Army ROTC. Survivors include his mother, Susanne Doerr of Bradenton; his father, Henry "Hank" Doerr of Zephyrhills; three brothers, Henry Thomas "Hank" Doerr, III, Andrew Joseph "AJ" Doerr, and Taylor Patrick Doerr, all of Bradenton; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Boucher of Bradenton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Zephyrhills, 5221 8th Street from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2004.
