Merriman, 76, died at the Mary Lyon Nursing Center in Hampden. Born in Ashland, OR, on December 24, 1925, he was the son of the late Lester Helen (Dittemore) Merriman. He was raised in Ashland and came to Western Massachusetts at the age of 18 upon entering the United States Air Force at Westover Air Force Base. He had then lived in Springfield, Somers, West Springfield, and then Hampden for many years, until recently resetfling to Springfield. As an electrician by trade, he was employed for many years with Collins Electric Company in Springfield, and refired in the year 2000 as the company's Senior Vice President.
He held membership with the IBEW, was a former Chairman of the Board at the Pioneer Valley Christian "School, and was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Springfield where he was an active participant in the choir. Mr. Merriman was predeceased by a 'son, Daniel J. Merriman in 1995. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Flora S.
(Stewart) Merriman; four sons, Douglas B. of Ringwood, David P. of Springfield, Donald L. of Chicopee, Dwight E. of Holland, two daughters, Deborah J.
Merriman of Springfield Donna L. Merriman of 13 grandchildren and one great -grandson. Barbara had lived in Springfield for many years moving to Southampton in 1979. She returned to the Springfield community in 1997. While a resident of the Southampton community, she had been an active communicant of Notre Dame Church in Easthampton. Barbara was also a member of the Southampton Mother's Club, the Easthampton Garden Club, and was a long time volunteer at the local polls during election time. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Christopher S.
Bourque and his wife, Kim of Springfield; and three grandchildren; Kyle Bourque, Krista Busha, and Justin Chirgwin. She also leaves many dear friends and loving caregivers. Morrow 1933 2002 SPRINGFIELD (Riley) Morrow, Marilyn T. 68, of 29 Maebeth died at home on Thursday, March 28th. She was born in Chicopee and lived in Ocala, for 24 years and in the Springfield area most of her life. She was a waitress for many years in Springfield and the Ocala area. She was a former Communicant of Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield.
She was the wife of the late George Morrow, who died in 1973. She leaves three sons, Philip Morrow and Edward Morrow of Ocala, and Michael Morrow of Vernon, CT. She was born in' Bethel Lympus, Vermont, the daughter of Frank and Martin Wilson and Blanche Simpson Gleason Wilson. She attended school in Bethel and graduated from Whitcomb High School. She attended Bay Path College and worked for many years as a private stenographer.
She was active in the Feeding Hills Grange for 37 years and was member of the Agawam United Methodist Church. She was well known for pie baking at the Big E. Her husband, George, died 1966 and her sister, Blanche Wilson Miller, in 1999. She leaves a nephew, John W. Miller of Springfield, and several cousins, including Doreen Norton Wait of Arizona and Shirley Whittier Huang of Ohio.

Roblinski, 84, of West Enfield, died, Saturday, March 30, 2002, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. He was the son of the late Michael and Catherine (Dudek) Roblinski. Henry was a lifelong resident Enfield and was a communicant of St. Adalbert's Church. He was employed for many years as a weaver at Bigelow Sanford in Enfield and Package Machinery of East Longmeadow.
Henry started his military career in the Hartford National Guard, in the 169th Regiment of the 43rd division, while going into World War II having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the John Maciolek Post American Legion 154, Enfield. He is survived by a two sisters Josephine Turek and her husband John, and Steffie Richard all of Enfield, a brother; Walter Roblinski and his wife Angelina of East Longmeadow, MA, a niece; Joanne Beckett and her husband Eugene of Enfield, several other nieces and nephews, and his special dog, Cote. HOLYOKE Donald T. Proulx, 53, of Holyoke, died suddenly at his home on Friday evening. He was a graduate of Holyoke High School, a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of the University of Massachusetts, and received his masters degree in education from Westfield State College. He was a Teacher of Special Needs Children for the Holyoke Public School System for the past 27 years.
Donald was an active environmental preservation advocate and had recently worked to preserve the Mount Tom area for future generations. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Murray) Proulx; his parents, Donald P. and Teresa (Jacques) Proulx of South Hadley; two brothers, Gary M. of Holyoke and Joel P. of Belchertown; three uncles, one aunt and several nieces nephews.

Masse 1952 2002 NEW PORT RICHIE, FL Barbara Ann (Marquis) Masse, 50, of 4328 Sawgrass in New Port Richie, Florida, died on Thursday, March 21 at her home. She was employed in the court system in New Port Richie. Before moving to Florida in 1992, she was employed for 23 years at the former National Blank Book Company in Holyoke. She was born in Holyoke on February 1, 1952, the daughter of Roland Marquis of Willimansett, and the late Lucienne (Dion) Marquis. She was a 1970, graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School.
She leaves one son, Christopher Masse, and one daughter, Mariah Masse, both of New Port Richie. One brother, Raymond R. Marquis of Chicopee. She also leaves one niece and one nephew. She also leaves many aunts and uncles.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:45 a.m. from the Arthur J. Brunelle Funeral Home at 811 Chicopee followed by a Mass of Christian at 11:30 a.m. in the Church of the Nativity, both in Willimansett. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery.
