Instructions

  1. Whisk together ½ cup soy sauce, 3 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 2 grated garlic, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, and a couple large pinches of salt and pepper.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil to a large saute pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 pound ground beef and a couple pinches of salt and pepper. Brown the beef, crumbling with a spatula, until cooked through.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add 1 small diced onion and 1 cup of matchstick carrots along with a couple pinches of salt and pepper and cook for 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon grated garlic, 1 tablespoon grated ginger, 3 thinly sliced green onions, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  5. Add 16 ounces coleslaw mix along with a couple pinches of salt and pepper. Cook for about 2 minutes or until the cabbage begins to wilt.
  6. Stir sauce into the meat and veggie mixture and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve with brown rice and garnish with wonton strips, green onion, and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
